A major economic blow was dealt as Ukraine strikes Russian oil drilling platforms in a Caspian operation. The V. Filanovsky, Yuri Korchagin, and Valery Grayfe platforms sustained direct hits. These Lukoil assets are vital for Russia’s economy. The strike aims to weaken Russia’s economic capacity to fund the war.

The platforms were targeted in December. Damage assessment is ongoing. Lukoil has not commented. This strike targets Russia’s oil production capabilities.

A Buk-M3 air defense system was destroyed in Luhansk. This tactical victory weakens Russian air defenses. A warehouse in Kherson was also hit, disrupting logistics.

The energy war continues with attacks on infrastructure. Russia targets Ukrainian power plants, while Ukraine hits Russian oil assets. This strategy aims to inflict economic damage.

Voronezh was hit by a drone attack, resulting in casualties. 17 drones were neutralized. This strike on Russian territory demonstrates Ukraine’s reach.
